The Pacific Highway is now clear after a truck fire at lunchtime in the southbound lane near Gulgan Road at Tyagarah.
A 000 call at approximately 12.20 sparked emergency services who quickly responded to the fire, which had engulfed the cab of the B-double truck.
A spokesperson for NSW Fire & Rescue said its vehicles had attended to support two RFS units from Mullumbimby, which were already in control of incident by the time they arrived.
Echonetdaily understands that the fire was quickly extinguished.
Temporary diversions, put in place until emergency services were satisfied the area was completely safe, have since been lifted.
