Hundreds enjoyed yesterday’s opening of the four-day Uplift Festival, which aims to encourage conscious co-creativity and inspire real world action.

The gathering brings together indigenous elders and some of the world’s foremost thinkers and practitioners in areas of science, health, consciousness and ecology to work toward global solutions to some of our most pressing problems and issues.

The Festival runs right through the weekend until Sunday evening at the Byron Bay Sports and Cultural Complex.
