At the upcoming election there is a very good chance that Dawn Walker will be elected the first Greens MP from this area in the national parliament.
With the close vote between the two major parties it is possible that Green MPs could hold the balance of power.
I have volunteered to support the Greens in this campaign because I believe a strong Greens presence in Parliament will help to ensure the major parties are forced to implement fairer and more environmentally sustainable policies.
Most of all I am concerned that neither of the major parties are doing enough to stop climate change.
If you also want to help with the campaign to elect Northern NSW’s first Green federal MP Dawn would love to hear from you at [email protected].
