Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. What about the wildlife like the Koala population that was wiped out? It’s next to a nature reserve disturbing a lot of wildlife and locals.

  2. Ah but Hope, nobody ever thinks of the koalas or other wildlife displaced by extremely loud, stress-inducing ‘music’ – they only think of money. Giving away money makes them look good and appeases their guilt. Splendour should never have been approved …..

  3. yes I would imagine that from the profits made, that would be a small offering, but kind anyway..yep the environment and the wildlife..and many of the business in the Shire dont seem to be benefiting from Splendor..
