A car lost its rear axle and was left in a seriously damaged condition on the side of Main Arm Road outside Mullumbimby yesterday, 8 May.
Despite the apparently dramatic nature of the accident, Echonetdaily understands that the occupants were not seriously injured.
Police have stated that it is the responsibility of the owner to remove the car.
