New artwork for the Bay!

From the artist that painted the electrical power boxes around town, Russell and his assistant Callie have given the alley opposite the Hotel Great Northern a fresh new look. ‘We have only managed to get about one third done because of the rain,’ says Callie, ‘and have had to postpone until late September because we are both away for the next month.’

The wall is organised with us through Deborah Pearse from Byron Youth Services, and funded also by Byron United says Callie. Russell has worked for over 10 years as a full time artist, and works out of Brisbane. He specialises in murals, tattooing and graphic design. Picture supplied.
