The directors and staff of The Echo wish to thank everyone for their kind tributes, flowers, cards, offers of help and expressions of sympathy.
We haven't got room to thank everyone individually and we'd be sure to miss some if we tried. Please accept this as our sincere thanks to the whole community, and please also rest assured that The Echo will continue to appear and continue to defend the principles that were dear to Nicholas's heart.
