Three men and a woman have been charged after shots were fired at a man at Casino in the early hours of Tuesday morning, narrowly missing him.
Police say that at 12:20am yesterday morning, a 40-year-old man was walking along the Bruxner Highway towards the Casino CBD when three shots were fired from a black Toyota Hilux driving past.
After one of the shots narrowly missed the man he called police, who found the vehicle and its occupants at a petrol station on Centre Street, Casino.
They arrested three men aged 23, 24 and 30 and a 20-year-old woman at the petrol station and took them to Casino Police Station where they were charged.
Police allege that a search of the utility revealed a pistol and a shotgun. They seized the vehicle for forensic examination.
The 24-year-old man was charged with firing a firearm in manner likely to injure a person, firing a firearm in or near a public place and using a firearm under the influence of alcohol.
The other two men and woman were charged with concealing a serious indictable offence.
All four were granted conditional bail to appear in Casino Local Court on Wednesday 21 December.
