People were queued out the door at the pre-poll booth in Ballina Indoor Sports Centre yesterday, with brightly dressed volunteers and AEC officials offering assistance to voters.

BR4R has not let the floods and COVID slow things down, with lots of recent happenings and more planned for the future.

A woman had her car stolen at a Ballina service station yesterday. She had left her keys in the car and was paying for a drink at the Kerr St servo when the incident occurred.

The car was later discovered by police in Goonellabah. A 13-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man have been charged over the offence.
