It was great to feel the love, peace and compassion at the Mullum Spirit Festival.

However, for those participants and organisers who were still spreading the music and love at 2.30 in the morning, could you please live up to your principles a bit more and show some compassion and love for those in nearby streets trying to sleep.

This might be helped if the responsible authority, Byron Shire Council, set up a process to ensure that the event conditions are met and not just hope for the best when approving a major event in the middle of Mullumbimby.
