An elderly man suffered minor injuries after being knocked over by a car on the Pacific Highway, Ballina, at about 8am this morning.
The man, thought to be in his 70s, was hit near the corner of Brunswick Street.
A spokesperson for Ballina police said his injuries were considered to be superficial but he was treated by paramedics and taken to Ballina Hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
