Mac Nicolson would have us sympathise with poor Peter Noble and his fears about the Byron Shire Events Policy. Well he has no sympathy from me.

In council meetings with hand on heart Peter declared that he wanted only one event. One event only. We all new this was rubbish and that he would be back for more.

As a close neighbour I have accepted the noise and dislocation caused by Blues and a once a year is enough. Let Peter sit with his neighbours in Tyagarah and Andersons Hill to discuss more events and I am sure the message will be loud and clear. Bugger off!

As for Mac, I have sympathy for him in his very meritous [sic] battle with Splendour but please don’t use our community as the sacrificial lamb in the one-events site push.
