I think it’s high time all the residents of the Northern Rivers start to think as one community. There is no need for coastal residents to sneer at the ‘hinterland’ or vice versa: people choose where they wish to live for their own reasons, it is as simple as that. Diversity of all kinds is what makes this amazing region so viable. Petty rivalry between us is not only a waste of energy but a terrible contribution to negativity. Let’s move beyond it and work together to make ‘The Northern Rivers’ an even more wonderful place in the future.
