Susanna Carman, Friday, Stokers Siding Hall

From big cities to small towns, at festivals and in intimate venues across Australia and the USA, American born singer/songwriter, Susanna Carman, offers audiences a one-woman show that combines finger picking guitar, French fiddle and Appalachian Dulcimer with a, flock of melodies that rarely sit there waiting for you to like them; they’re too busy doing that cartoon birds-around-your-head thing.

Add to this a gift for storytelling that invokes a few full-bellied laughs and you have a performer who slides comfortably into your affections.

Susanna Carman has been invited to perform at the: National Folk Festival, Peats Ridge Folk Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Mullumbimby Music Festival, Byron Bay Writers Festival, Grassroots Music Festival, Dorrigo Folk Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival, Coast Acoustic Festival and Sydney’s Shir Madness Festival.

See Carman this Friday at the Stokers Siding 15 Minutes of Fame.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
