A man has been charged with the murder of 47-year-old Michelle Roberts, who was found dead inside the site of a house fire in Margaret Crescent, South Grafton, about 2.30am last Friday

A 47-year-old man was arrested at a home in George Street, South Grafton about 5pm yesterday.

The man was taken to Grafton police station, where he was charged with murder and two counts of damaging property by fire. He was refused bail to appear at Grafton Local Court today.
