Greater Sydney under COVID related restrictions

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has just announced that greater Sydney area will go into lockdown until next Monday.

Kristina Keneally giving advice to Julia Gillard about how to win elections? The Premier whose NSW government was so totally hammered? What a farce!

The absolutely quickest way to get rid of yourself, Julia, is to abandon carbon regulation, along with my children’s future, and follow Keneally’s extremely stupid advice. Can’t you imagine the Greens Federal Parliamentarians delivering this message as one to Labor: ‘Labor, your PM is history. Change her now or else. If you drop carbon we will drop you.’

Gillard’s ‘votes’ are coming from within the Parliament, not the public or the polls for the duration of this minority government. With friends as politically cluey as you, Kristina, she’ll be over long before this term is.

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
