Base nurse finalist in NSW Health Excellence awards

Police from Richmond Local Area Command are preparing a report for the information of the Coroner after a man died when the timber truck he was driving rolled near Casino yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened about 2.30pm on Mongogarie Road at Mongogarie, 20km southwest of Casino, when the semitrailer – laden with logs – left the road and rolled into a paddock.

The driver, believed to be a 43-year-old man, died at the scene.
