Mullumbimby’s Lachlan Stanford has been selected to represent Australia in the International Six Day Enduro in Germany later on this year. The motocross race ‘is incredibly hard and it’s a huge deal that a local lad is going,’ according to friend and comedian Ellen Briggs. Ellen’s organised a fundraiser for him, Comedy for a Cause, next Friday 22 June at the Mullum Ex-Services Club. Tix available at Mullum newsagency.
