Fine weather has allowed the Club Championship to progress. There are still matches to be played; please check notice board and arrange to have them played.

Tuesday’s social singles was won by Gavin McPhail. Jackpot not won and stands at $90 now.

Thursday’s self-selected pairs winners W Silberieson and A Laylam, runners up J Meinel and J Brooker. Meat tray won by T Hillard and the jackpot didn’t go off and is now $150.

Saturday’s social bowls won by B Macaulay and J Wright.

Headlanders Bodyboard Club

The Headlanders held its June comp at Brunswick Heads on Sunday. A beautiful winter day with light offshore winds greeted the competitors. Although the swell was small there was still some quality bodyboarding done with Jarrah Hamlin scoring two 10-point waves and an average wave score for the day of 8.1 and Stevie Lloyd tucking himself into a small barrel for a 4-sec count and 10-point score as well. Thanks to Frank and special thanks to Nick, Stevie, Richie and Liam for a their help with the judging.
