Linnaeus Estate DA raises concerns for residents

Community concern over the current development application (DA: 10.2021.170.1) for Linnaeus Estate in Broken Head has led to detailed analysis of the DA.

On Sunday 5 August I will be rollerblading from Pottsville to Banora Point to raise money for the You Have a Friend organisation. They are a local organisation that assists our community’s homeless. They are in need of a new van to help with deliveries and day-to-day running of the organisation. I am trying to raise $5,000. If I can reach this mark there is a company that will match it and make a big difference.

I am 25 years old and have lived in Pottsville all my life. My family is community based and I have always helped with volunteer work when I can. I would appreciate your readers’ assistance in promoting my fundraising.

There is a website link through www.youhaveafriend.org.au. Follow the link to National Homeless Week (top left side of homepage); on the right there will be a link to my Blading Marathon.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
