Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a drive-by shooting at Rappville yesterday.
About 3.15pm police were called to Nandabah Street after shots were fired into a house.
Officers from Richmond Local Area Command found bullet casings outside the house and damage to the front door.
No-one was home during the incident.
Witnesses saw a white Holden utility with Queensland registration plates, which stopped outside the house.
Police said the driver fired a number of shots in the direction of the house before speeding away.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses, who haven’t already spoken to police, to come forward.
The driver, and sole occupant, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of fair complexion, with short hair, a goatee and thin face.
