FB censorship

Dean Jefferys, Mullumbimby I feel concerned about the level of censorship on FB, Instagram, YouTube, MSM, local online groups and elsewhere...

I have an affordable solution to the doctor crisis at Mullum Hospital. Let’s import Cuban doctors. In Cuba today doctorsreceive a salary of $25 per month (brickies earn $50). Cuba exports thousands of doctors per year to all corners of the globe (except the USA). They exchange doctors for oil with Venezuela.

Why can’t the citizens of our town pull together, raise some funds, and hire them ourselves? Screw the red tape, regulations, and all other explanations/blocks for why those who make health policy don’t give a damn whether or not we’ve got a live human doctor on call in our community. Who’s keen to help?

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
