Hundreds of art lovers visited the Ocean Shores Public School auditorium last weekend to immerse themselves in the ninth annual Ocean Shores Art Expo, which this year was held in conjunction with the school’s, Festival of the Imagination.
More than 300 hundred pieces were entered this year’s competition with 36 prizes awarded in six categories, including watercolour and gouache, sculpture, oil/acrylic, printmaking, drawing and pastels, photographic and digital art and mixed media.
The People’s Choice award went to Sabine Brosche for her work Melaleuca, which was also the first-prize winner in the sculpture section.
