Man rescued from Upper Wilsons Creek causeway

At about 10pm last Friday a man from Mullumbimby was driving his his car along Upper Wilsons Creek Road and was swept into the creek.

Cavanbah centre gets a taste of 3×3 basketball

The Byron Beez basketball team in collaboration with the U League hosted a 3x3 tournament at the Cavanbah centre at the end of January that attracted 30 teams.

The first will be at the Mullumbimby Services Club tonight, Wednesday August 29, from 7pm. The facilitator will be media advisor and former Northern Star editor, Russell Eldridge.

The second forum will be at the Byron Community Centre on Monday September 3 from 6pm.

The facilitator will be experienced ABC broadcaster, and ABC Radio National’s homepage editor, Mick O’Regan.
