Police have released this image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries into the armed robbery of the Ozigo service station in Byron Bay on Sunday.

About 10.27pm, an 18-year-old male staff member was closing the service station on Bayshore Drive, Byron Bay, when a man armed with a pistol entered the store.

The man threatened the employee and demanded cash, and was given a small amount before he ran from the store.

No-one was injured in the incident.

He’s described as Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid-20s to mid-30s, of a solid build, about 180cm tall, with short red/blondish hair. He was wearing a long sleeved hooded jumper, a dark-coloured bandanna covering his face, dark jeans, and dark joggers with red shoelaces.
