Sensible and reasonable approach to decision-making, a good knowledge of the region – my passion for community sits on a foundation of strong family values including mutual respect.

2 What has motivated you to stand?

My love for the place I live – There are four generations of my family residing in Ballina – so my concerns run from childcare to aged care – I want to continue to give a voice to the silent majority – the people who live here and love it.

3 What is your vision for the shire/LGA?

A prosperous thriving community – with a lifestyle to be envied by all – strong focus on employment for our young people.

4 In your opinion, how can council best balance the need for further residential development with the need to preserve the local environment?

Sound strategic planning that ensures that adequate infrastructure and environmental protection measures are in place for any planned development.

5 What particular issues do you feel strongly about?

The health of the Richmond River and our waterways and the establishment of a Marina. The continuation of our shared pathways and their final completion. The construction of a Community and Sporting Centre
