Well if you haven’t heard Anje and Kim, from The View from Madeleine’s Couch, from Brisbane, you’re in for a real treat.
Usually fronting their 5-piece band, Anje West and Kym Ambrose are downsizing for their afternoon at By the River and have invited Jim Kelly to perform with them again.
With a sound as seductive as ever, from lush bossa novas to pounding, percussive Carnaval-style batucadas and sambas, this vibrant trio will leave you wanting for more. An absolutely fabulous afternoon of music – let’s just hope that Kym can fit his vibraphone in!
