A 76-year-old man was crushed to death yesterday while felling trees on a macadamia farm at Eureka.
Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was called to the property at about midday and flew the man to Lismore Base Hospital with critical injuries, where he later died.
Police and Workcover authorities are investigating.
