Terri Nicholson, an ‘unknown singer’ from Terania Creek, released her CD Fall into Feeling yesterday, and within 12 hours of release was sitting on top of the Amazon Contemporary Folk Charts, above the likes of Bob Dylan (no 10), James Taylor (no 7), Leonard Cohen (no 6) and Rod Stewart (no 4).

Her friends and fans, recognising Terri’s talent, went out on release day and bought the CD, supporting the pregnant Terri, who is soon to give birth to her third child.

Terri’s CD is currently no 71 in the Amazon All Music Best Sellers list.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
