TEDxByronBay has just revealed the first round of speakers for the 20 April 2013 event, under the theme ‘Agents of Change’.
The list includes prominent locals, pioneer of the ‘new economy’ movement Helena Norberg-Hodge, surfer and environmentalist David Rastovich, and cognitive neuroscientist Ricky Van Der Zwan. Travelling to Byron for the event will be internationally acclaimed social entrepreneur and NSW businesswoman of the year, Audette Exel.
The call out for speakers for TEDxByronBay continues until the end of November, and event organisers are excited about showcasing undiscovered talent to the global TED.com audience.
As well as a call out for speakers, TEDxByronBay is seeking volunteers with skills in stage production, set design, event logistics, photography, filming and post-production to be part of the team and contribute their creative flair to this world-class TEDx event.
The event is also seeking sponsorship partners who would like to align themselves with this prestigious not-for-profit TED.com brand, synonymous with big ideas that challenge and inspire.
