Three people were seen breaking into a Tweed Heads bottle-shop on Minjungbal Drive around midnight last night.
Witnesses saw two men and a woman pull up outside the bottle-shop in a white Commodore around 12.30am, throwing a brick through the window to gain entry.
Police say the three targeted high-value spirits, including bourbon, whisky and rum. They were seen leaving in a Toyota Hilux ute. The stolen Commodore was left at the scene.
