More than anything it’s the symbolism and visual pollution of these multinationals that take over a town and change the environment/ambience and look of the place.

Byron Bay is a very small regional town with a relatively tiny CBD area and to have it littered with crap like KFC, McDonald’s, Hungry Jack’s etc is just not on!

Subway crawled in but at least they have little street impact. The fact that a local couple wants to open this joint rubs even more salt in the wound. Sell-outs.
