One of the biggest documentary buyers in North America will be taking part of this year’s Byron Bay Film Festival (BBFF), to be held March  1 – 10.

Charles Schuerhoff is director of International Acquisitions at the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the USA, and will be a panelist for the Meet the Buyers workshop, which is aimed at helping Australian filmmakers find markets for their work. Additionally he’ll be judging the ScreenZone International Documentary Prize, worth $5,000 in cash.

Festival director J’aimee Skippon-Volke (pictured) says, ‘The festival has a growing international profile and the contribution from Charles will help drive forward the appeal of BBFF to talented filmmakers world-wide.
