To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Aquarius Festival held in Nimbin in May 1973, Richmond River Historical Society is presenting an afternoon of talks, discussion and displays to explore the impact of the festival, and its aftermath, on the participants and the local community.
The event will take place at Lismore Regional Museum this coming Sunday, 21 April, 2–4pm. Cost is $5 adults and $3 children/concession holders. The museum is at 165 Molesworth Street, Lismore.
The event is part of the National Trust’s Heritage Festival.
