Last year’s Mullum 2 Bruns Paddle was a walk in the park for 77-year-old kayaker Mick Sharratt from Ewingsdale who set out with the cruisy non-competitive crowd for a relaxing morning of sun and sculling on the Brunswick River. Hundreds of kayakers and paddlers will hit the waters of the Brunswick River on Sunday for this year’s Mullum2Bruns Paddle, an eco-friendly family fun event.
The event starts at Heritage Park in Mullumbimby, where you register and put in from 7am on the day and culminates at the Terrace Park in Brunswick Heads with community fundraising BBQs and picnics, free kayak clinics, kayak expo, live music, a duck race and more. There is a shuttle bus service to take paddlers back to their cars at Mullumbimby.
