There is good news for the increasing number of people who suffer from the debilitating collection of illnesses temporarily named Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).
One of the foremost research institutes with a focus on CFS is soon to be located at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. This will greatly aid in our battle for recognition, accurate diagnosis and one day treatment for what the World Health Organisation first recognised as a neurological disease in 1969.
People with ME/CFS of differing levels of severity, living from Brisbane to Byron are needed to participate in research studies. Healthy people willing to be control subjects are also needed.
