Fellow NSWIS athlete Emily Smith put the icing on the cake after the half-time break, scoring in the 60th minute to make the score 3–0, with the end result also seeing Australia qualifying for the 2014 FIH World Cup. Also included in the team were NSWIS athletes Casey Eastham, Emily Hurtz and Toni Cronk.
