After reading Dave Lisle’s letter (October 22) I had a big bellyache from laughing so much and then when I read Robin Harrison on the same subject, well, I thought I would have to admit myself back into Mullum hospital for belly-pain relief.
I am also a cyclist in Mullum and I ride mostly on bikeways and footpaths, the reason being I don’t want to get bowled over by any maniac speeding around the streets.
I ask all drivers in Mullum and surrounds to please slow down and consider other road users. For those with no time to stop at zebra crossings in Mullum: it’s against the road rules to not stop when someone is on the crossing and you people who have not been stopping are running the risk of hitting someone (I hope that doesn’t happen). So do yourselves a favour, take half a minute to stop and look, please.
