Mullum Music Festival has got off to a wild start, as a capacity crowd laughed, cheered and clapped along during the sold-out launch event last night.

MCs Mandy Nolan and Joel Salom kept the jam-packed evening moving in what organisers referred to as a ‘tasting plate’ of the weekend’s top acts.

There are still tickets available for the rest of the weekend, with The Basics, Kinky Friedman, Arte Kanela Flamenco leading today’s line-up, Mama Kin, Raul Midon and Tin Pan Orange heading up tomorrow and Bobby Alu, Mr Cassidy and Jaaleekaay (pictured) highlights on Sunday.
