Dubbed as the northern rivers’ very own ‘supergroup’, The Feramones are composed of a myriad of internationally acclaimed musicians.

Rick Fenn, lead guitarist of 10cc, has been touring the world with his group for more than 30 years. Rick brings a strong influence of 70s/80s rock to the Feramones’ repertoire, including his own worldwide hit, Dreadlock Holiday.

Also on guitar is Alan Limbrick. Founder of the internationally renowned London Guitar Institute, Alan was awarded an honorary doctorate for his contribution to music education. As a session guitarist, he has played on dozens of internationally successful records for a variety of recording artists.

On keyboards is Alan Park, Cliff Richard’s musical director and pianist for more than two decades. Alan’s keyboard and piano virtuosity brings exceptional variety to The Feramones’ repertoire.

Bass player Greg Lyon has a catalogue of recording credits dating back to his fusion band Crossfire in the 70s. Northern rivers locals may remember his Byron-based band Hip Pocket from the 80s and 90s.

Lead vocalist Col Germano is best known as the singer/songwriter for 80s/90s hard rock band Bourbon Street.

Dubbed the ‘Charlie Watts of Australia’, Rick Lloyd is one of this country’s most talented and highly regarded drummers. His career spans five decades and he has worked with some of Australia’s finest musicians, including his own group RAM.

Together, the six members of the Feramones are a rare combination of talent. Songs of the 60s, 70s and 80s, including hits by The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Rolling Stones, Bryan Adams, ZZ Top and the like are what is in store.

Their pure love for the music creates a festive atmosphere that inspires all walks of life to join the party on the dance floor.

Ballina RSL, New Years Eve from 8.30pm.
