RAISE-THE-ROOF-MULLUM

Raise the Roof, the gospel choir with the mostest, is back on again for the year with three sessions every week, welcoming new singers, old singers, shy singers, bold singers, only-ever-before-in-the-shower singers, and YOU!

What’s even more exciting is that Raise the Roof’s choir director extraordinaire Jessie Vintilla, along with fellow Lucky Wonder Emma Royle, are inviting all lovers of singing and walking to ‘Sing The Camino’, a brand new Spanish adventure of a lifetime.

Having just returned from their own Camino adventure, the ladies of luck are champing at the bit to get back there in May with a team of acapella-happy walkers, to walk by day, sing by night, and, naturally, feast on the best of the region’s food and wine, lushing it up in an incredibly beautiful part of northern Spain, on the World Heritage-listed Camino Trail.

Go to www.singthecamino.com to find out all about it.

Raise the Roof Choir meets Monday 7pm at Murwillumbah, Tuesday 11am at Suffolk, and Tuesday 6.30pm Brunswick.

Call 0417 277 211 or check www.raisetheroofsinging.com for more info.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
