[Earlier report] Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate this four-year-old boy, Bray, who has gone missing after being collected from a Grafton childcare centre on June 2.
At about 3pm the child was collected by his father Alessandro Bongiorno, who was driving a white 2008 Toyota Hilux 4WD with NSW registration AY 44 NI.
Bray was not delivered to his mother’s home and police fear for the child’s safety.
They say his parents are separated and involved in a domestic dispute.
Following a number of lines of inquiry, the boy and his father have not been located.
Mr Bongiorno is described as being of Mediterranean in appearance, and 29 years of age.
He is approximately 175cm tall, with a medium build, olive complexion and black hair, and was last seen wearing a black singlet with white trim and a pair of shorts.
Police believe he may be headed to south-western Sydney or possibly to Young in the state’s south.
They are asking the public to be on alert and report any sightings of Mr Bongiorno or the utility he was driving.
Police are urging members of the public not to approach the man or the vehicle, but to contact police immediately.
