Missy_HigginsMusic has always played an important tune at the Byron Bay Writers Festival and this year’s event brings some Australian greats to the Bay.

Richard Clapton, much-loved legend of Australian music, will feature in conversation with award-winning journalist and author, David Leser on Saturday August 2 at the Byron Community Centre Theatre. Singer/songwriter Missy Higgins, pictured, has struck a profound chord with Australian music fans and festivalgoers will have the opportunity to hear Missy In Conversation with ABC presenter Simon Marnie on Saturday August 2.

Missy will also join critically acclaimed musician Darren Hanlon in the session The Art of Song Writing on Friday August 1.
