Storylines: Growing hope

Hope is a fragile thing in 2021. With the current pandemic and the uncertainty in so many aspects of life, our hope is being shadowed by fear. It is profoundly affecting our humanity.

I must agree with Labor candidate Paul Spooner’s view of what the current government’s public transport priorities are. The growing queues of traffic at Christmas time on Ewingsdale Road was incredible to see.

Accidents on the Pacific Highway near Ewingsdale forced many travellers to try Ewingsdale Road to beat the traffic. Alas this did not work.

The $50 million allocated must be used as as our local councils want and need. With the planning decision last year that gave zoning approval to the West Byron development the issue becomes even more urgent.

The Greens once again sit on the fence with a little bit each way. What our communities need are roads not a silly bike track.
