I am wondering why the bottle brush trees on the common strip outside the new Byron Bunnings were completely chopped down this morning?
These trees were healthy and flowering, I imagine birds eat the bottle brush flowers, also the trees were aesthetically pleasing, outside the new cement block of a building called Bunnings.
I love going to Bunnings and I can see why it would be a good addition to the growing Byron area, but why in the haste to open for business and make corporate money would u destroy the little bit of surrounding nature?
I sure hope they don’t cut the gum trees out the front down.
