Water outage in Ballina this Thursday

Residents on Crane and Owen Streets in Ballina are advised of a planned water outage this Thursday May 13.

A police officer charged with stalking following a domestic incident has been bailed after appearing in Ballina court.

The male senior constable, who is attached to a specialist command in the northern region, was arrested on Saturday.

He was charged with two counts of stalking/intimidating with intent to cause fear and resist/hinder police in the execution of their duty.

The man was conditionally bailed at Ballina Local Court to appear again to face the charges on Thursday 4 June.
