Open letter to Cr Rose Wanchap

Is shoeing the public your answer to our questioning your integrity? Is it [fair] to be elected for and paid to represent one set of values (Green Party), and then represent the opposing values? The Green Party is thus named as it is the champion of the natural environment. Rose you appear to be the champion of big developers.

If you care at all for this town you will wait for the Costal Zone Management Plan, which takes all the coastline into consideration. The CZMP would present a coastal action plan that the state government approves of and is likely to fund. Thanks to your defection from this community, we are likely to have to put up with potholes for a long time, while the public purse is full of rocks.

Rose I felt for you receiving abuse while shopping, but please understand the public feel cheated. You need to set things right, please stand down now and, if you want to, stand at the next election and see if you get elected in your own right.

Suzie Deyris, Byron Bay
