Police are appealing for information after a shot was fired during an aggravated break and enter at Condong in Tweed shire last night (Saturday).
Two people at a home on Tweed Valley Way called police around 10pm after they heard a loud bang downstairs and intruders they had heard enter the house then fled.
Two men were seen running along Tweed Valley Way soon after and driving away in a car.
Police say it appeared someone forced entry to the home and fired a single projectile into a cupboard.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police forensic specialists and Tweed/Byron detectives are investigating.
