Police have released this image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries after the robbery on a 76-year-old woman at Banora Point last month.

About 6pm on Monday 22 June 2015, the woman was walking from her vehicle when a man walked towards her, with a second man walking a short distance behind him.

The first man allegedly grabbed the woman’s handbag and both males ran in an easterly direction towards Banora Point shopping centre car park, before jumping a wooden fence near Darlington Drive, Banora Point.

Police were called and searched the immediate area without success.

The woman was not injured.

Police have released this EFIT image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries into the incident.

He has been described as having a thin build, about 170cm tall, aged 17-18 old, with brown fuzzy hair and a moustache.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to these incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/
