Police in Lismore and Murwillumbah are aπpealing for public help in locating two missing people.

In Lismore, Richmond Local Area Command are trying to locate Ellen Wilson, 54, who was last seen walking along Woodlark Street about 10.45am on 11 September. She hasn’t been seen since and her disappearance is out of character.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with light brown hair, brown eyes and a medium build. She also wears glasses.

Ms Wilson may be driving a silver Subaru Forrester bearing NSW registration plates CB76QX. She is known to frequent the Sydney and Far North Coast areas.

In Murwillumbah, police are trying to find a man missing since last week.

policeJohn Willett, 43, was last seen about midday on Monday 21 September, but has not been seen or heard from since.

Police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command commenced investigations but searches for Mr Willett have been unsuccessful.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 185 – 190cm tall, thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Mr Willett’s dark green Holden Rodeo utility (NSW registration plates CD06XB) is also missing.
